Canadian singer/songwriter Amelie Patterson has recently released her new single The Patient Kind and it’s a track you want to hear more often, it has a perfect vibe. I adore the retro melodies which know to create a wonderful moody alt-folk soundscape. In addition, the lyrics are well-written, they are about meeting someone and immediately knowing that you have a connection. Besides, the vocal performance is phenomenal, Amelie’s voice is like gold!
There are also made visuals for The Patient Kind, a must see. The video was filmed in Amelie’s own Calgary apartment, and follows the story line of three couples who have met at the party. Each couple eventually takes the spotlight as they let loose in the middle of the dance circle.
You can say without any doubt that The Patient Kind has all the elements of a hit, so be sure to stream or watch it as soon as possible and feel free to sing along!
