Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Peter Wise is back with his new single Trustfall and it is an awesome track. I am a big fan of the grandiose vocals. Moreover, the chorus is, as expected, amazing. Furthermore, the unique rhythms showcase creativity and reveal thoughtful artistic choices!
The lyrics, like the sound, are very impressive. Trustfall is a song about commitment. Being in love involves relinquishing a level of control, to let go of the comfort of living in a personal bubble in order to make room for someone else and their eccentricities. That jump, to get out of self and let someone else into one’s life can feel very daunting, which according to Peter lines up quite nicely with the visual of a trust fall. So this song is about two people struggling to make that level of commitment to each other.
You can say without any doubt that Peter Wise has made really good music again, Trustfall is a track with attitude, so make sure to stream it as soon as possible and feel free to sing along!
