The talented 23-year-old pop singer-songwriter Kimmie Devereux has released recently her new single Normal and it’s such an amazing track. I really like the down-tempo melodies which create unique ambiances. Besides, the vocals sound grandiose. Kimmie has such a powerful voice. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the dynamics!
The story behind the track is just as impressive as the sound. Kimmie says about Normal, ”This is a song I wrote in my bedroom to my 16-year-old self that was struggling to come to terms with her sexuality. It’s a letter to the LGBTQ+ youth going through the same struggles, telling them that everything they’re feeling is normal and that they will be okay. Not only can LGBTQ+ people relate, but anyone that has struggled to find their place in this world.”
Kimmie has made some important music. Normal is a track that needs all the attention, so be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
Do not hesitate and add Normal to your playlist(s).
