Brother sister duo JANEY (Sarah and Billy Otto) is back with their new single Hurts Me Like Hell, an awesome piece of music. I adore the unique vocals which showcase new musical visions. Besides, the chorus knows to give the track an extra musical dimension. Furthermore, I also like the indie type of beat!
The story behind the track is just like the sound very impressive. Hurts Me Like Hell is the duo’s most personal release to date. “The song was birthed from a moment of disconnect with a family member of ours,” tells Billy. “It’s incredible how much body language can tell so much about how a person feels about you, not to mention when you’re a hypersensitive melancholy artist.”
There is also made a music video for Hurts Me Like Hell. Sydney based videographer Ash Lim (Phebe Starr, Xavier Dunn, Jaguar Jonze) and lighting technician Dodge Pangburn (US) worked in collaboration with the band, and the result brings the powerful emotions of the track fully to life.
You can say without any doubt that Hurts Me Like Hell is a track that has all the aspects of a modern gem , so be sure to stream/watch it as soon as possible!
Do not hesitate and add Hurts Me Like Hell to your playlist(s).
