Thief is Janie May’s debut single and it sounds as expected awesome. The instrumental is very innovative, I adore the powerful chords, for example. Besides, Janie’s vocal performance is grandiose, she has such a unique voice. Furthermore, I also really like the rhythms and dynamics!
Speaking about Thief, Janie says: ”This is fundamentally a song about transformation. It is about the process of realizing that, while people may hurt us in life, we have the choice as to whether or not we allow it to continue.”
