Monako Davis has released last Friday her most energetic EP to date. Of Heart and Home, delivers her special brand of retro-tinged anthemic pop. Released on Ildefonso Records, Of Heart and Home was produced at Ildefonso Studios with frequent collaborator Spencer Riley (aka The TVC).
One of the highlights of the EP is the title track featuring Mary Ives and Jaclyn Lovey. I really like the acoustic guitar-driven melodies which create unique ambiances. Besides, the complex harmonic structures know to impress. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the well-written lyrics.
