EmmaDop has been underway for some years in different constellations. At the end of 2018 EmmaDop became the trio it is today: Line, Ole and Anton.
They work on their big dreams and ideas in a little allotment outside their hometown of Aarhus, where they unfold their feelings and experiment with their lyrics and sound.
A big part of the songwriting is a result of a joint process in the band, where themes and ideas are turned into all-night jams, that take the energy and the histories to a brand-new place.
Their productions often start as a live arrangement from rehearsal and afterwards are produced and mixed by Ole.
EmmaDop draws inspiration from other artists such as Little Dragon, Robyn, Spleen United, Kashmir, Emma Pi and Saybia.
Uppercut is EmmaDop’s second single and it sounds awesome. I really like the unique melodies which showcase innovative approaches. Besides, the vocals know to impress until the last note. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the grandiose rhythms and the well-written lyrics!
EmmaDop has created modern art, Uppercut is a track with a sound you have never heard before. Start streaming it as soon as possible and feel free to sing / groove along while listening!
