Lost at Sea is a track from Cassie’s debut EP Find a Way and it sounds amazing. I really like the quirky melodies which create innovative musical landscapes. Besides, Cassie’s vocals are grandiose, she has such a unique voice. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the ethereal atmospheres.
Speaking about Lost at Sea, Cassie says: ”This song expresses emotions of being lost, held down, ignored, and of realizing it all quite suddenly. Based on a dream, the metaphor of being ‘lost at sea’ is intensely dramatic; surrounded by people who can’t/won’t help you, vastly directionless, trying desperately to find answers and a way out.”
