Getaway is City Park’s new single and it sounds awesome. I adore the unique melodies. Besides, the vocal performance is captivating until the last note. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the grandiose chorus and the quirky rhythms!
Lyrically, City Park knows to impress. Getaway is a stylishly understated track “talking about falling for someone who’s still seeing someone else: a morning after story that plays on the need to resist and wanting more at the same time.”
