Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
Natalie Torn grew up on the North Shore of Chicago with heavy love for musical theatre and comedy, bringing her to New York to study Film Production at NYU.
Heavily influenced by British artists including Amy Winehouse, Robert Plant, and Sam Smith, she dedicated a semester to studying songwriting in London, UK.
Blue is Nat’s new single and it sounds amazing. I really like the innovative pop melodies which showcase multiple new creative expressions. Besides, the vocal performance is sublime, Nat’s voice is very, very powerful. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the quirky rhythms and the well-written lyrics.
Speaking about the track, Nat says: ”Blue is a project that began in 2016. The song is a composition of over a dozen musical themes and melodic patterns merging together to create waves. Composed as a ballad, Blue is a love song meant for modern dancers and fresh listeners. The ocean is the main muse, the backdrop for extreme heartache and unrequited love.”
You can say without any doubt that Blue has all the elements of modern art. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
Do not hesitate and add Blue to your playlist(s).
