Sia Babez is an emerging force in the Irish music scene. She is a gifted writer and singer and has been working diligently on developing her unique blend of R&B, neo-soul and electro pop.
Are You Ready is Sia’s new single and it sounds amazing. I really like the catchy melodies which create bright atmospheres. Besides, Sia’s sublime vocals are captivating until the last second. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the dynamics and the well-written lyrics.
Lyrically, Sia knows to impress. She wrote Are You Ready as a message to herself. It’s about wanting to break free and being hesitant because of her own self-doubt and fears. Music is therapeutic for her, as a child, she was bullied rather often and this is one of several songs in her catalog in which she writes about wanting to be able to finally be herself and forget about the pressures of the outside world.
There is also made a music video for Are You Ready. The visuals showcase inventive techniques.
You can say without any doubt that Sia has made modern art, Are You Ready is a gem. Start streaming/watching it as soon as possible!
Do not hesitate and add Are You Ready to your playlist(s).
You can stream/watch Are You Ready below on Soundcloud, Spotify or YouTube!
