Front Yard is a track of BLUE ROI’s new EP Dark/Light and it sounds amazing. I really like the quirky melodies. Besides, the sublime vocals are captivating until the last note. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the dynamic elements and powerful chorus!
Speaking about the track, vocalist Jennifer Jans says: ”Front Yard is probably the lightest and most cheerful of all songs on Dark/Light. It is based on many audio snippets and samples recorded during a longer journey through the south west of the United States. You can hear the bell of a train whistling in the middle of nowhere on route 66, the sound of the pacific ocean, or some notes on a broken piano standing on the corner of a street. The lyrics deal with being happy, and content about the small things in life, and not always being focused on everything that isn’t quite as we imagined it to be.”
You can say without any doubt that Front Yard is a modern masterpiece. Start streaming it as soon as possible and feel free to sing along while listening!
Do not hesitate and add Front Yard to your playlist(s).
