Originally from NY, Emily James began writing her first songs when she was ten. She spent two years living in Nashville and, while there, put out her self-titled and self-written EP with Grammy-winning producers Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, James Bay) and Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Marren Morris). At 18, James released her debut album Til the Morning produced by Ryan Hadlock (Lumineers, Vance Joy). Her music spans multiple genres, incorporating flavors of pop, rock, blues, Americana and folk and has been inspired by such timeless musical influences as Adele, Bob Dylan, and Fleetwood Mac. James relocated to Los Angeles in the summer of 2017 and began writing and recording for her upcoming project.

Hey Boy is a track of James’s new EP Dreaming and it sounds amazing. I really like the delicate vocals which create bright atmospheres. Besides, the guitar riffs are unique and showcase many creative expressions. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the well-written lyrics.

You can say without any doubt that James’s has made modern art, Hey Boy is the definition of good music. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
