Up and coming musician Sansha is a music graduate based in South-East London. A singer-songwriter at heart, she has written over 50 songs and self-produces them into electronic tracks in her bedroom studio.
The Moon is Sansha’s new single and it sounds awesome. I am a big fan of the innovative melodies which show thoughtful artistic choices. Besides, the dynamics are impressive. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the quirky vocal performance.
The single is accompanied by an amazing music video. In the clip Sansha asks strangers to listen to her song.
Speaking about the track, Sansha says: ”This track I wrote and produced shortly after coming back from The Gambia, visiting the charity Wyce who provide support for a village out there called Madina Salam. The song features samples from my recorded conversation with Lamin Camara, a music teacher who lives in the village, which was about the moon and being a musician. I was very inspired by all the singing and layers of drums I heard out there and I’m excited to release something people can dance to.”
