Body is Marie Lang’s new single and it sounds awesome. I really like the uplifting melodies which create a bright atmosphere. Besides, the chorus is as expected very powerful. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the delicate vocals!
Speaking about the track, Marie says: ”I think most of my friends would describe me as a very nurturing and caring person (some even call me Mama Marie). I love being my close people’s rock and try to be intuitive about their emotions, even when they don’t always voice them. I guess I relate to that because on the flip side I often have a hard time being vulnerable myself. Although I’m the biggest believer in taking responsibility for my own emotions and not depending on someone else to make me feel better, we all sometimes just want someone to read our mind and reassure us. When I wrote “Body” I almost thought about love and affection being some sort of superpower I hold over a lover, to make him feel better and “kiss his ghosts away”.
Marie knows exactly how to make modern art, Body is a track with so much character. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
