Sweden- and Malmö-based VIOLT sprung out of band member Jimmy Sok’s student bedroom production project (formerly Violet Vessel) in 2017 – and the year before had been featured with a song (Head) at the London Fashion Week for Mulberry, during the presentation of the AW16 collection.

Wilma is VIOLT’s new single and it sounds very impressive. I really like the powerful melodies. Besides, the vocals are as expected sublime. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the quirky rhythms and dynamics!

The single is accompanied by an amazing music video. The visuals showcase inventive techniques.

Speaking about the track, VIOLT says: ”Wilma is that every person you ever failed to hold on to because you were always in different places in the end. The song was conceived a year ago, went through 25 demo exports and finished just recently. Just enough time to impart emotions of the come and lost relationships during this past period of our lives.”

You can say without any doubt that Wilma is the definition of good music. Start streaming it as soon as possible!
