Val Maugenest is a London based singer and songwriter who was born and raised in The Netherlands. She moved to London in 2011 to study music and immerse herself in the (London) music scene. Taking the time to develop her original sound and songs, Val finished writing and recording her debut EP in early 2016 and released the 20/20 EP on March 28th 2016.
Compete is Val’s new single and it sounds amazing. I really like the unique melodies. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the dynamic elements and the uplifting chorus!
