Girl Next Door is Sydney Scotia’s second single and it sounds amazing. I really like the innovative pop melodies. Besides, the delicate vocals are impressive. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the dynamic elements and the powerful chorus!
On the single, Sydney says: ”I moved out to Los Angeles at age 14 to pursue a career in acting. I was lucky enough to book work by 15 but was constantly told that I was the girl next door type and that was all I was going to be submitted for. At 22, I still get told this. I was super grateful to even be considered and happy to be doing what I loved, but once I started writing music last year I wrote this to say that it’s okay to be the “girl next door” but that girl can also be much more than that one stereotype.”
