She has released last Monday a rework of Nat King Cole’s classic Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) and it sounds awesome. I really like the delicate vocals. Besides, the up-beat melodies are impressive. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the catchy chorus!
Speaking about the track, Vaeh says: ”I decided to do this song dancehall style because for most of my childhood I grew up going to spend Christmas on the island Curacao to visit my Aunt. My family and I got to enjoy a lot of island and Jamaican influence through food and music. I hope it makes you feel the vibes of a Caribbean Christmas!”
