Jylda is Italian-German Gianna Gehlhar’s musical alter ego. After releasing her debut EP Twitch earlier this year, she is now back with Guard, a collaborative track with Brazilian classical composer Marino Arcaro.
The new single sounds amazing. I really like the magical piano-driven melodies. Besides, the delicate vocals are phenomenal. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the wonderful ambiance!
Speaking about the track, Jylda says: ”Guard is different to me from anything I’ve ever written before. I wanted to capture the feeling just before opening up to someone. The deep fear of it and driving urge and joy to do so. The sensation of being weak while doing something that requires so much strength. The music reflects this; you can hear caution and you can hear audacity.”
JYLDA and Marino have made something unique, Guard is the definition of modern art. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
