Born and raised in Gothenburg—artist and songwriter, Elin K moved to Los Angeles to pursue her musical dreams. Music is in her blood—her father was a progressive rock musician in the ’70s and her second cousin is famed producer/songwriter, Max Martin. Already a couple of months into her stay in Los Angeles, Elin has made a name for herself, playing shows in places such as The Mint, The Viper Room and the Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip, all of which have hosted famous artists and musicians for decades.

Elin recently released her new single Night train to Yosemite feat Eilon Marom and it sounds amazing. I am a fan of the powerful acoustic guitar riffs. Besides, the vocals are powerful. Furthermore, I also adore the wonderful atmosphere!

Lyrically, the song is very impressive. Night train to Yosemite is about being at a crossroad in life, knowing something got to change. Its also about the juxtaposition of what your heart wants and what your head is telling you.
