Disruptive pop infused with fresh and sultry r&b sounds is one way to describe Casey Conroy’s melodic sound. The 21 year old once referred to her music as “defiant pop”. She is somebody you can’t categorize.
Conroy recently released her new single Best Shoes and it is a brilliant piece of music. I like the crystal clear vocals. Besides, the guitar riffs are powerful. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the well-written lyrics.
The single is accompanied by a spectacular music video, directed by Kyle Loftus.
On the single, Casey says: ”I wrote this song in a scary place as a way to comfort myself, never expecting to release it so being here is kinda surreal!”
Conroy is a rising star, she never disappoints. Best Shoes has all the elements of a true masterpiece. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
