The talented artist Josephin recently released her debut EP Selfmade Actually and it is a masterpiece. Every track has a unique vibe and connects with the listener.
One of my favorite tracks of the EP is No Fun. I am a fan of the well-written lyrics, for example. Josephin says about the track: ”This song is very long and almost feels endless at some point before it changes into the second part of the “Jabberwocky”. My inspiration behind it was reading Alice in Wonderland and me personally questioning the concept of time. I felt under constant pressure, too much work, had/have a fear of being too late, loosing time, not being fast enough and not getting where I think I should have been already. I think this feeling has become quite universal for many people in our very success driven society.”
To Be Continued is also a highlight for me. I like the powerful melodies and outstanding vocals. Besides, the dynamics are impressive.
