Hard work is nothing new to the NYC based trio Running Lights. For Mike Squillante (guitar/vocals), Nick Squillante (keys), and Steve Ranellone (drums) it’s a deep rooted notion that has been a cornerstone of their Italian working-class upbringing paired with an unwavering passion for music.
Running Lights recently released their new single Next Year (Acoustic) and it sounds amazing. I like the smooth guitar riffs. Besides, the vocals are outstanding. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the wonderful atmosphere.
On the single, Running Lights says: ”This song is a deeply personal journey and a familiar story of how we face our personal and professional failures with the hope to reinvent ourselves. Written during the throes of self reflection that typically occur at year’s end, the song captures the hope of a fresh start in the New Year that we all have wished for at some point in our lives.”
Next Year (Acoustic) has all the elements of a true masterpiece. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
