Currently based in London, 23 year-old Bambie is a Dream Pop singer/ songwriter from France. She writes songs about love, self-discovery and modern femininity, for all the exhausted lovers whom are into catchy, meaningful and dramatic pop music. With influences such as Lorde, Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift, Bambie’s sound stands somewhere between the dark and light side of the Pop music spectrum.
Bambie released today her new single Spaceboy and it is just a perfect song. I like the dynamic melodies. Besides, the vocals are almost surreal. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the smooth drums.
Lyrically, the song is impressive. Spaceboy is a tale of adoration from afar, of hopeful yet unrequited love,and putting someone on a pedestal. A story as old as time, seen through the metaphor of a boy whose beauty and charisma are nothing short of otherworldly.
