Marana Blake is an indie singer-songwriter, born in Chicago. At a young age, she ventured down into the Southwest, where she was heavily influenced by the simple and laidback lifestyle. Her music is often described as “Lana Del Rey’s voice in a Zella Day song,” having a timeless quality that feels new, yet familiar.

Blake recently released her single White Ghost and it sounds awesome. I like the unique guitar riffs. Besides, the vocals are outstanding. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the powerful hooks.

The single is accompanied by a fantastic music video, created by Blake herself. The visuals are on another level.

On the single, Blake says: ”White Ghost is a metaphor for a relationship that is addictive, and too good to quit. They come and go like cigarette smoke, lingering long after they’re gone.”

White Ghost has all the elements of a true masterpiece. Make sure to stream it as soon as possible!
