Swedish singer Tilde, hailing from the city of Gothenburg, has been writing and releasing music for as long as she can remember. At an early age she quickly gained attention when she first appeared on the scene. However, at the age of 22, she fell severely ill which would put her promising career on hold.
After several years living abroad she returned to Gothenburg and met with studio owner and BRIT-award winning producer Pedro Ferreira (The Darkness, Albin Lee Meldau) and picked up right where she left off. Drawing inspiration from voices such as Donny Hathaway, Nina Simone, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Etta James and Amy Winehouse together with her years of experience and soulful touch to create what would result in her striking debut album — Nothing Gold Can Stay.
Call My Name is the first single of Tilde’s upcoming second album and it sounds amazing. I like the unique melodic construction. Besides, the vocals are just perfect. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the powerful hooks.
Lyrically, the song is very impressive. Call My Name is about love, hope and despair.
Tilde is such a talented artist, she knows exactly how to make good music. Call My Name has all the facets of modern art. Start streaming it as soon as possible!
