Americana-soul songstress Hannah Rooth entered the scene with first release Wild Hum (September 2019), recorded at Plaid Dog Studio (Cambridge, MA) with friends Adrian Avalos (guitar) and April Faith-Slaker (cello).
Wild Hum and Hannah released last Friday their second single Strong and Tender and it is a brilliant piece of music. I like the dynamic elements. Besides, the vocals are out of this world. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the powerful hooks.
On the single, Hannah says: ”This song is a very honest description of my heart and my relationship to my lover and my life. I waited about a year after writing to share with the world. Now I’m more confident in the fact that true strength requires a relationship to tenderness.”
