Paulina Vo is an indie, R&B, pop/soul, singer, songwriter, and producer based in Brooklyn.

She recently released her new single Shades Down and it sounds so good. I like the powerful drums. Besides, the vocals are out of this world. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the dynamics.

On the single, Paulina says: ”After years of going in and out of toxic relationships, I finally told myself that it can’t happen anymore. I can’t let someone tell me that I didn’t live up to their expectations. I can’t let someone tell me that I won’t make it without them. “Shades Down” is my little sad and honest goodbye letter to years of emotional labor. I’m better and stronger without them, and writing this record gave me the power I didn’t know I had. While the core of the song focuses on everything mentioned above, the outro (3:13) takes a detour. Forgiveness is a complicated thing, and walking away from someone in your life isn’t easy.”

Paulina is a rising star, her music opens the gates to new worlds. Shades Down is just a perfect song, what else can I say. Make sure to stream it as soon as possible!
