Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
German artist and songwriter KAHLLA, aka Freya Volk, was born in Amsterdam and raised somewhere in the nomansland of South West Germany. Having outgrown her rural hometown, she up and left aged 18 and is now based in London.
She recently released her new single Sense of Self and it is a brilliant piece of music. I like the dreamy melodies. Besides, the drums are smooth. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the crystal clear vocals and impactful hooks.
Speaking about the track, KAHLLA says: ”Sense of Self is about trying to redefine yourself. What parts of you are really you? Are we the sum of the people we’ve met and the things that have happened to us? For some time last year I was really uncertain about who I was and where I wanted to go – I guess you could call it a quarter life crisis!”
KAHLLA is an artist who never disappoints, she’s so creative. Sense of Self defines good music. Make sure to stream it as soon as possible!
