Geena Kaye recently released her new single Crawling and it sounds amazing. I like the groovy melodies. Besides, the vocals are crystal clear. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the powerful hooks and dynamic elements.
Lyrically, the song is very impressive. Kaye describes: Crawling is about calling bullshit, yet knowing you’re too deep in the hole of longing for *that* person to pull yourself back out. It’s about the tiny shred of hope you keep in the sock drawer of your heart, the hope that they’ll change, that they’ll be the person you always thought they could be. That this person will want you for more than a night. It’s about knowing you’re hurting yourself by continuing to indulge in an illusion, and perhaps finding a bit of solace in the pain, which keeps you crawling back.”
Crawling has all the elements of a modern masterpiece. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
