Everyone from Einstein to Buddha has posited that time is relative. No one knows this better than Aisha Badru, the singer-songwriter who’s devoted her life’s work to contemplating the velocity and viscosity of change. Just a few years ago, Badru was living in the low-income neighborhood in Yonkers, New York, which was riddled with trash, pollution, and crime. Today, she’s created her own oasis in the outskirts of Orlando, Florida, replete with two ponds and a food garden, fruit trees and butterflies, birds and bees. This transformation is nothing short of stunning, which Badru recounts ever-so-gorgeously on her latest EP Transcendence, a release that’s at turns intimate and inspiring.
Love Doesn’t Fade is a track from the EP and it sounds wonderful. I adore the crystal clear vocals. Besides, the guitar riffs are sweet. Furthermore, I also like the bright atmosphere and amazing lyricsm.
