Speaking about the track, Melanie says: ”I wrote this song about turmoil, being afraid, and confusion after experiencing the arsonist-lighted Cranston fires in Southern California. Life is muddy waters and this song helped lead the way for me. But, surface-level, the song is about comforting yourself and digging deep into those thoughts people have when they are all alone in their bedroom.”
