Good to Me is a single off of Carrie Welling’s upcoming album, High Heels and Heavy Things. The album will be released on April 3rd at Analog in Nashville.
The song sounds so good. I like the unique guitar riffs. Besides, the vocals are outstanding. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the powerful hooks and uplifting elements.
On the single, Carrie says: ”This is my story. This is me being vulnerable. I spent years in a job that wasn’t serving me because I was afraid to take the leap of faith to just do music full time. I spent years being hard on myself because I thought I’d be in a different place at my age now. I was also sitting in a puddle of self worthlessness. I finally decided to write a song to myself – telling ME to finally start being good to myself, love myself and know that I am exactly where I need to be. It’s brought wonderful things!”
Carrie knows exactly how to make good music, she’s so talented. Good to Me deserves all the attention. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
