Mixing 90s r&b with future pop & bass, Demmy Sober releases her first single produced by Swallow X, Spanish artist and producer known for his futuristic beats as well as collaborator to international beat-making contest Sampler Chef and the Smoking Hub music sessions.
Can’t Get Over is a brilliant piece of music. I like the uplifting melodies. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the solid hooks and dreamy textures.
Lyrically, the song is very impressive. Demmy talks about a long-distance relationship that never worked out, and needs one last time with that person to be able to move on.
The single is accompanied by a fantastic music video, directed and edited by Javier Fernández.
