Just live a fabulous life and drink champagne. For Toronto singer-songwriter Brooklyn Doran, these words will remain a reminder of the spirit that her dear friend Andrew “Glamdrew” Henderson embodied. Doran recently released her new single Tomorrow Never Comes, which is inspired by her final conversation with Andrew before his passing in 2016.
The song sounds so impressive. I like the crystal clear vocals. Besides, the lyrics are meaningful. Furthermore, I also adore the unique melodies and smooth drums.
Directed by brittpaperscissors and featuring no shortage of glitter, gold, and champagne, the Tomorrow Never Comes music video features some of Andrew’s closest friends, paying tribute not only to his life, but to his Taking it to the Grave project. A performance art piece, Taking It To The Grave was Andrew’s final act in this world, where people would whisper their deepest, darkest secrets to him, and he would have those secrets tattooed, with a symbol he drew for each, onto his skin. The vibrance of the video perfectly embodies the impact Andrew left on every person he met, the legacy that still remains.
