Stacey Kelleher just dropped her new single Want Me, a real pop-rock-trap anthem. I like the grungy guitars. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the the amazing harmonies and powerful hooks.
Lyrically, the song is very impressive. Want Me is about being emotionally manipulated by a love interest you thought could be trusted.
On the single, Stacey says: ”Want Me allowed me to let out all the anger I was feeling after being manipulated by a boy I thought I could trust. It’s about finding out that all the promises that person made were false. Something I’d want listeners to take away is to never let someone make you feel lesser because of their own lies – and to always say how you feel.”
