McCall is an Atlanta-born singer, songwriter and producer.
She just released her new single Disaster, taken from the forthcoming project On Self Loathing, due for release this year.
The song is an impressive piece of art. I like the quirky pop melodies. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the powerful hooks and dynamic elements.
Speaking about the track, McCall says: ”Disaster is a song about shame. Every line was pulled from things that my brain starts whispering to me before I fall asleep, from ‘you don’t take good enough care of yourself, you’re bad at self-love’ to ‘you’re only where you are because you grew up in the upper-middle class suburbs, not because you worked hard or have any talent.’ It gets exhausting to always be criticizing yourself, even if you frame your criticism as ‘tough love.’”
McCall always makes good music, she’s a rising star. Disaster needs to be heard. Start streaming it as soon as possible!
