Dia Morgan is a pop artist and songwriter.
She just released her debut EP Love & Delusion.
The first song Sleepover on the mini-album is a real gem. I like the energetic melodies. Besides, the hooks are powerful. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the sublime vocals and dynamic elements.
Lyrically, the song is absolutely incredible. It’s about being in the friend zone.
Speaking about the track, Morgan says: ‘‘The hardest part of being friends with the roommate of your crush is hanging out in the morning at their apartment and seeing the person who’s friend-zoned you looking all sexy in their pjs. This opens up an unnecessary fantasy of being in a relationship and waking up next to them. Unfortunately, I’ve experienced this first hand, so, I went home, and wrote this quirky, upbeat song to help me break out of the friendzone…it didn’t work, but I like the song I got out of it, so I’ll call it a win.”
Morgan always makes good music, she’s so talented. Sleepover deserves all the attention. Start streaming it as soon as possible!
