She just released her debut single Addiction and it’s so good. I like the quirky melodies. Besides, the hooks are solid. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the funky grooves and sublime vocals.
Speaking about the track, Izzy says: “I wrote this song about quite an unusual situation; I was in a psychiatric unit and became involved with a guy who had substance abuse issues. The song delves into the feelings surrounding falling in love or being addicted to someone with a drug addiction. I could have written a very solemn song about my experience but decided to turn the situation on its head and write an upbeat track to make the best out of a bad situation.”
