Talking about the lyrics, Red says ‘They focus on a previous long term relationship of mine where there was years of fond memories and history holding us back from the truth. The truth being the flame had burned out and we weren’t the same people anymore. We continuously went round in circles trying to fix the inevitable but deep down we knew it was time to let go.’
