Speaking about the track, she says: ”After traveling to Turkey to host a vocal production workshop at the Sonar Istanbul music festival last month, I decided to not return to my home in New York right away in order to wait out the pandemic.
I created this song in one day, which is a new record for me. I usually overthink every little detail, but this time, the goal was to get really sucked in as if time didn’t even exist, and just let the freshest ideas come out effortlessly.”
