Lux Montes is a French singer-songwriter living in Belgium. This candid and unbridled silhouette carved her name in the family tree of her Andalusian ancestors. Lux, light, Montes, mountains. Two words that illustrate music in chiaroscuro.
After a first self-produced EP in 2015 and the already very powerful EP Sista Sista released in 2017, the singular and overflowing creativity of Montes has now given birth to a complete album, an inhabited and inspired first recording which awakens both the darkness of our emotions and their melancholic sweetness.
The ninth track of the LP is titled Wishes.
The song sounds so good. I like the mellow yet powerful melodies. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the uplifting elements.
Lyrically, the song has a lot of depth. Lux’s writing skills are next level.
