E. Alvin is a dark pop artist.
He recently released his new single Appetite.
The song sounds so good. I like the haunting melodies. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the solid hooks and uplifting elements.
Lyrically, the song has a lot of depth. E. Alvin tells the relatable story of a FWB relationship, where the “benefits” cause more pain than pleasure.
About the Appetite visual, the artist says: “The original concept was an abstract fever dream of me feeding an entity that symbolized the ‘appetite’. A whole prosthetic was created for one of the actors, but unfortunately, plans were scrapped due to the pandemic. I reached out to artist Diego Romero (Diablo), who specializes in the same vintage-horror aesthetics I’m inspired by, and he animated scanned images of my hands and mouth to emulate the cover art, and stay true to the heartbeat of the song with this lyric visualizer.”
E. Alvin always delivers. Appetite deserves all the attention. Start streaming it now!
