London-based singer-songwriter and producer Amalie Bryde has never been one to mince words. The twenty-seven-year-old crooner has a jazzy core reminiscent of Erykah Badu’s early work, prevalent in her debut single You & Me or Remote Control, which showcase a style that oozes originality and radiates confidence.

Amalie just released her new single Colours (Demo).

The song sounds so good. I like the mellow guitar work. Besides, the vocals are on point. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the jazzy influences and delicate harmonies.

Lyrically, Amalie delivers. Her writing skills are exceptional.

The song has a very personal meaning for the artist: it is all about making the other person in the relationship aware of how beautiful they are when they open up and let their guard down. Vulnerability can’t can’t always be sunny, but that’s the beauty of it. There has to be rain before the colours will reveal itself.

Amalie’s music connects with the universe. Colours (Demo) deserves to be heard. Start streaming it now!
