Anna Belle is a synthpop/R&B artist based in Nashville, TN.
She recently released her new single Until August.
The song has a surreal quality. I like the rich synth textures, Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the solid hooks and nostalgic elements.
Lyrically, Anna delivers. Her writing skills are on point.
Until August is paired with music video, filmed and edited by Anna herself using an Olympus OM-D and Adobe Premiere. Visually it looks cool.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”After my university suddenly sent students home due to the pandemic, I wrote this song about being without my best friend until next semester. It took me 3 weeks to produce, record, and mix, and I made the cover art in my basement using a starter lighting kit and an old bed comforter. It’s the track most characteristic of my artistry that I have put out so far, and I’m so excited for people to hear it.”
Anna’s music connects with the universe. She is so talented. The song deserves to be heard!
