After the release of their debut EP in January, MADANII & LLUCID dive right back into releasing their next EP with their first single, Dandelion.
The song has a surreal quality. I like the quirky beats. Besides, the vocals are outstanding. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the dynamic hooks and future-pop influences.
Dandelion was written during a short visit the band made to LLUCID’s childhood home in a small town in Germany. The two spent their days wandering through the nearby forest, recording the sounds of birds and leafs as they stepped through. The trip lead them to reflect on the bitter-sweet moment when we’re forced to let go of something- even if we love it- in order to have space to grow. Hence the name Dandelion– a flower that spreads by blowing in the wind.
MADANII & LLUCID deliver once again. Their creativity is next level. The song needs to be heard!
