Anna Volpe is a NYC native, singer-songwriter that gravitates towards storytelling.
She just released her new single Anybody Out There?. It’s an indie-pop ballad.
The song sounds so good. I like the atmospheric melodies. Besides, the hooks are solid. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the soothing vocals and uplifting elements.
Lyrically, the song will resonate with many listeners. Anna wrote Anybody Out There? with Angelique Calvillo.
Speaking about the track, the NYC native says: ” The song came out of the idea that I had found in my journal of song ideas, lyric snippets and it said “is there anybody out there?” and the song was born from that! I remember the song came together pretty quickly during the session which I love when that happens so I knew this was something special. I also originally wanted to write it for sync but I think the song turned into so much more especially during the current times we are living in. I know that a lot of music that is coming out of this pandemic is more on the happier, uplifting side which I love but I also think it can be therapeutic to sit with the not so good feelings & emotions as well. I’ve always gravitated towards, what Sophie Turner amazingly calls it, “feel bad” songs and it’s definitely gotten stronger during the last few months. But I hope this song can somehow help people go through certain not great emotions that they usually push down or don’t typically recognize until now. ”
Anna delivers once again. The song has everything to be a success.
