EMERGER is a dream pop duo.
They recently shared their new single Urban Wilderness (Reimagined).
The song sounds so good. I like the funky rhythm guitars. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the 80’s inspired synths and catchy elements.
Lyrically, EMERGER delivers. Their writing skills are on point.
Speaking about the track, they say: ”We wrote Urban Wilderness as a homage to Cape Town, our hometown. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of the city, with contrasts between nature and urban sprawl, alluding to both the thrill of traveling the world and a nostalgic longing for home – a bittersweet love letter.”
The music video is directed by EMERGER themselves. Visually it looks cool. The clip captures the song perfectly.
EMERGER’s music is on another level. Their art has depth and meaning.
The song deserves to be heard. It’s a gem.
