Exciting UK based songwriter and producer Dan Reynard announces his new project KiD RAiN with the release of high energy sing-along indie pop banger Say Yes.
The song sounds so good. I like the unique grooves. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the powerful chorus and brilliant guitar work.
Lyrically, KiD RAiN delivers. His writing skills are on point.
Speaking about the track, he says: ”Say Yes has a very personal spot in my heart because believe it or not, by the time I was 19 years young I had already proposed to 12 people and 2 animals. They all liked me I think but apparently the “timing wasn’t right” haha you get it. Haven’t seen them since but it’s cool. Anyway this song is about realising you’ve found “the one” and praying they don’t reject you like the 12 other people and 2 animals before them.”
KiD RAiN’s vibrant personality is reflected in the incredible music video which was spontaneously shot in the most colourful village in the world whilst on holiday in Bali with best friend and MTV videographer/director Alex Boulton.
”When we saw that Kampung Warna Warni Jodipan (Village Of Colour) was only a one hour flight away we booked flights for the next morning and planned the storyboard on the way”, he comments.
KiD RAiN’s music is cool and refreshing. He has his own style.
The song deserves to be heard. It’s a gem.
